HISTORY;
Born amongst the mist and forests of Kilia, it seemed Trey's path had already been set out before him. He was the son to a pair of scholars, talented in the field of magic, and he was expected to turn out the same. From a young age he had a startling skill with magic, but what he had in ability, he lacked severely in interest. But due to his parent's wishes, he studied dark magic for a few years, a path rarely taken by most. He had some sort of talent with it, but it was draining and frustrating, and he couldn't bring himself to like it.

When Trey was fifteen, his father was struck by a sudden illness, and passed away within a few months. His mother never stopped grieving, swearing to wear only black for the rest of her life, and so she did, when she, too, died only a few years later. In respect for his dead parents, Trey, following his mother, swore to only wear black until the end of his days.

Seventeen, he left the solitude of Kilia, wandering the continent for several months, before arriving in the territory of Dentoria's House Lireth.

A pale, sickly, weatherworn boy who looked more like a scholar than anything showed up one day, saying he was Dentorian and claiming that he wanted to become a knight. After putting him through several tests to prove his worth, he was then sent into training. Trey tried harder than anyone else, and though swordsmanship was not in his blood, he found that he was not half bad with a sword, nor a lance.

Four years later, twenty-one years old, Trey donned silver armour, breaking one oath and taking on another. Words were wind until set upon paper, his parents had once told him. The words he spoke that day were just that. Wind. For honour and for justice, for pride and for glory, but above all, for Lireth.

Yet, recent events have been troubling him greatly, far more than he tells himself they should. He finds himself doubting almost everything. For only days after the Lady Elthea had taken her own life, a woman that he had been involved with -- a maid by the name of Charlotte-- supposedly stole a horse from the stables and ran away from Lireth. Trey doesn't know if he believes this or not, a part of himself wanting to argue that Charlotte was too gentle and mild a person to do such a thing, but the part of him that reminds him constantly of his duty tells him to keep quiet.

PERSONALITY;
Trey is both serious and cold, quiet to a fault, and avoidant towards most people. He stays in his 'quiet place' until it's proven necessary for him to come out. He holds a slight sense of superiority over his peers, hating the way that they take everything for granted and view most things in life as a joke. By know he knows how easily things can be taken away from a person, and is skeptical that no one else seems to.

Trey doesn't ask questions, and most of the time refuses to answer them unless they're important. Some people have been known to think he was stupid, and some think that he might be mute. They're all wrong, but he doesn't care the words of people who don't even matter. As a result, he doesn't anger easily and is quite difficult to provoke, which are two things that have gotten him to where he is so far. But when something touches a nerve, something inside him snaps and he reacts almost viciously, the words that he speaks from then on dripping with nothing short of venom.
